Hi,
I have down loaded a system cleaning app called "MACKEEPER" and it looked like an Apple Mac source.
I tried to discard it using the trash but it does not want to go.
What do I do....keep it or get rid of it?
If I should get rid of it....please tell me how

It's not known to be spyware, but you should definitely get rid of it. What happens when you drag it to the Trash?

Thanks for the reassurance that it is not spyware.
I was trying (wrongly) to drag the app from my LAUNCHPAD instead of from my APPLICATIONS file in FINDER.
When dragged from there, the Mackeeper software was properly trashed.
