Q: Why is my new Iphone 4s battery only lasting 14 hours without talking very much and using no internet?

So will multitasking drain my battery if the apps are running in the multitasking menu? That link says it will not but I have been deleting these every few hours.

I have about everything turned off that can be turned off. I finally gave up and called apple and told them my usage since last charge. He said that something was more than likely wrong with my battery and to bring it to an apple store so they could test it. Any other advice to try until I make it there?

I don't know what is causing it but it just died completely a few minutes ago. When I checked the usage totals right before it died it said I had actually used it for 3 hrs and 33 mins and it was on standby for 13 hrs since the last full charge. Does this sound normal for this device?

Mine was higher than that but you still suggest me taking it in? Sorry for all the questions I am just new to this phone and I want to get the most of it. My usage today consisted of very little internet usage and what little there was was on wifi. It just seems like all my friends are constantly on there phones and theirs lasts at least a day and a half. Then I constantly make myself use my phone as little as possible and it dies before 10pm

Oh okay. The closest store is an hour and 15 min away but I think I'll have it checked. I was just expecting the iPhone to last at least a full day with moderate usage of the device.
