How to alt/tab using office Mac (outlook)

Hi folks, I have a silly question. When I compose an email on outlook and then I decided to do something else in the middle of writing.

When I press alt/tab I can't see the window to where I was writing my email. I just see outlook. So what I do is select that, then I can find my window where I was composing my email.

How come alt/tab does not show the composing email window.

having the same problem, as i just made the switch from pc. It seems when I press the yellow - to minimise an app, I can see it is still running and in the alt (command) tab section, but when i go to select that item it remains minimised, so rather useless it seems. Found in settings to change shortcut keys and swipes to get to Mission Control, but that then doesn't show the minimised apps. I also added a swipe to the top right hot corner of the pad, as another way to reach mission control, so that is pretty good, but i cannot find a good way to open up the running app when minimised other than to press the activation button or if set to show in bottom right of screen, but i like to automatically have that strip hidden, so a bit slower perhaps than alt tabbin it. In any case this mac totally kicks pc's bum
