amber ligth

I have an amber ligth in the conector or the Mac Air 2010, after a press simultanusly Shift-option-command-power, it change to amber.

If while you're running with the plug connected you see amber, that's probably OK. Look at the battery display in the upper right of the menu and click "Show Percentage". That's the number that really matters. If it's over 94% or so when the battery is fully charged, that's fine.


The other thing you can do is "Option" click the same icon. It should show you the battery is "normal".

After shift-option-command-power it turn (LED) green for about 8 sec, and then go back to amber, I did this for few times and always happened the same. So after that I press power on and only stay on for about 6 sec. and it shutdown by itself every time. So I live the Mac conected all night and this morning I press option command power simultanusly and works up to about 5 minutes on, there one window ask me If I want to reinsatall the operative system or make a backup, if I choose reinstall de O.S. it tell me that I need to be connected to the internet, then it shutdown again.
