Hello all- I am having a small problem with garage band. when i go to save instrument it tells me that the file will be hidden as I have chosen not to view my own settings. How do I revert this?

set the popUp menu over the instrument list to "Show All"
I have the same problem. However, there is no popup menu over the instrument list. I suppose that's because I only have one list.
I'm trying to accomplish exactly the same goal as the original poster.

I have garage band 5.1 running on OS X 10.6.8
Sorry for confusing post. I was mixed up re OP. I'm trying to save all my effects setups across multiple projects. And I realized it's very easy -- Do a Save As on a project with the right instrument settings and use that as a template for a new project -- But delete the track contents first so as to not copy all that data.
How do I unhide my instrument tracks in garageband?
