How do I get FaceTime for my MacBook 2009 13"

My wife in overseas with her 13" MacBook I bought her in 2009 basic model. I want to help her download the FaceTime app so we can FaceTime each other. I have the iPad 2. I can't seem to find a way to download and install it. How can we do that
