I have lost my Safari/Google address field, how can I restore this?
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion
Choose Show Toolbar or Customize Toolbar from the View menu and put it back.

If only it was that easy. Did not fix.
If you are running ML then the address bar and search bar have been unified. You posted in the SL forum
