Q: Cannot get an itune book to read on my PC or Sony Reader?

I downloaded a book from the iTunes store and cannot read it on my Sony Reader or my PC.

    You buy audio books through the iTunes store.  You buy ebooks through the iBook store.  Are you sure you did not buy an audiobook?

     

    If you did in fact buy an ebook through the iBook Store, those are DRM locked to Apple's own iBook reader and thus can only be read on an iOS device (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad).

    Okay fine...perhaps you should mention that before someone pays for an online book that you can purchase anywhere.  How do I go about getting a refund as I cannot open the book even on my PC?

    I should mention that?  I do not work for, nor represent Apple - no one here does.  We are all just users of Apple products, just like you.

     

    You can contact Apple via the web support contact pages and plead your case with them.
