Apache stop working in Mountain Lion

Hi,

I can't get my apache to work on my Mountain Lion. I do sudo apachectl start on terminal and there is no error. However, I am still unable to connect to localhost. Anyone can help me solve the problem?

Thanks for that heplful pointer! However it doesn't solve my problem, and I have no idea why or where to start. Like the original post, I can restart apache fine, but it just won't connect on the localhost in a browser. Ugh!
