BTW, iDVD will not run on a G3.iBook G4 14" 1.42 GHz [1.5GB-60 GB], iMac G5 20 1.8 GHz [2 GB-160 GB], Mac OS X (10.4.5), iBook 466 SE Graphite [DVD-576M-40 GB-AirPort],iMac G4 700/768, iPod Photo 30 GB

On the other hand, some writers (CD-R or DVD-R) are not fully functioning with all applications. Toast can handle much of them but iTunes for example was not functioning with my old mitsumi CD-R. I prefered to buy an LG and now it works perfectly.iMac DV 400, Mac OS X (10.4.4), 15GbHD/512 MB Ram/DVD-RW

I have a G3 imac special edition IMAC slot loading DVD & CD reader, using OS 10.3.9, with Iphoto 5. I need a external Burner to burn DVD & CDS. I will use firewire port. Any suggestions in brand names would be a big help . ThanksIMAC, Mac OS X (10.3.9)
