My iPod touch will not unlock after my daughter put in the password wrong too many times. Now it says iPod is disabled, connect to itunes" but this iPod touch has never been synced to any computer and when I downloaded iTunes and tried to synce it, iTunes says" unlock iPod before it can sync! What should I do?

Place the iPod in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes.

If not successful, try DFU mode.
