iTunes and the Gmini 400 ARCHOS

Hi Groupe,

Can anybody tell if itunes will work with other portable mp3 players and windows, I have a friend with a ARCHOS Gmini 400 and I'd prefere to you iTunes on windows to transfere music for her but can't find a supported hardwhare list anywhere??

If you can open the player under explorer after you plug it in (go to My computer and see if it's listed as a drive, if so, open it) You have the ability to drag from iTunes to the folder at this point.

NOTE 1: You CANNOT drag and drop music purchased from iTunes. Only MP3 files. If you want to do it with purchases, you'll have to burn the music to a disk and then rip it as Mp3. (Plus you'll be making a 'backup disk', and this is GOOD!)

NOTE 2: No Mp3 player will have the integration that an iPod has. For this reason, you will find no 'compatible hardware' list. There is nothing that compares, and nothing that will show up in the source panel like an iPod.
