What plug-in needed for videos on MacBook?

Just downloaded and installed Mountain Lion on my MacBook today.

I wanted to play a training video, which plays on the iMac. When I accessed the video site [not a YouTube but a software program's training video], the screen states the plug-in is missing.

Need help as to what plug-in I would need.
