How can I stream my iMac screen through Apple TV but keep the sound playing through the internal speakers?

I have an iMac and an Apple TV but when using the airplay mirroring function I want to keep the sound coming out the iMac instead of the TV. When Mirroring is turned on I go into system preferences and changed the sound back to internal speakers but then the mirriroing stops.

Can anyone help??
