Calendar won't synch with iCloud

Can't get iCalendar to synch with iCloud. Checked for appropriate Mountain Lion OS & verified. All other internet functions are working and synching.

Message: "Couldn't move your calendars to iCloud because an error occurred. Make sure you're connected to the Internet, and then try again." Two buttons appear: Try Again Now and Try Again Later.
