I would like to rearrange, weed, and alphabetize the Maps app's bookmarks.
How do I do that, please ?

The Maps app does not have separate bookmarks. It knows about the locations you have listed in your Contacts app. You can arrange those by Last Name, First Name or First Name, Last Name in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > [Contacts] Sort Order.

The bookmarks from the Maps app do not appear in my Contacts.
The bookmarks I am talking about are created in the Maps app by the "Add to Bookmarks" button on the Info window. The info window where you have the choices of "Add to Contacts", "Share Location", and "Add to Bookmarks".
The only thing I seem to be able to do is edit the name of the individual Map Bookmarks.
What I do is to use Contacts to organize locations as well. For instance, if I wanted to save the adddress of my favorites stores, then I make a new Contact group called "Store" and then save the address with the store name into this group. You can access this group directly from the Maps app in your iOS device as well.
How do I organize my bookmarks in the Maps app ?
