10.7.4 not print on samsung CLP-620 properly

Hi Folks,

Since I bought my new MBP (non-retina) with Lion 10.7.4 I have not been able to print correctly to my Samsung CLP-620ND printer correctly despite re-installing the latest driver (1.13.02). The text is fuzzy and colours wrong. The printer prints perfectly from my Windows 7 PC and worked on my old machine under Snow Leopard. I have contacted the Samsung help desk but the only solution they have suggested install the latest driver.

Any help gratefully recieved. Thanks.

Thank you for this. A thoughtful and sensible response.

The problem has not changed I still have fuzzy text/colour. I had already done this but chose to do it again, deleted all the printers and recreated then and restarted my Mac. I also tried various generic PCL drivers and the text comes out crisp and clear, however these only print in black and white.

I am now using the Samsung CLP-610 driver which seems to be working but I have not done a full test to see what features/quality may be lacking.
