How do I reset my security questions

    I followed the link to the thread, clicked on the link there and when I got to the next page I saw this



    An unknown error has occurred.

    Manage your Apple ID  

    Change preferences, edit privacy settings, and keep your details current.


    Tried logging in anyways went to password and security and there is no option anywhere that I can see that says to change or reset security questions. Any other ideas? I have a new iphone and can't make purchases on it now until I can answer these **** questions.

    I have the same annoying/frustrating problem..even called apple and they can't help because some security breach they had...they said to wait for unknown amount of time till they solve it. for now the only solution is to download to the computer and then sync with the phone.

    This is really dumb.  I cant seem to find the security bar anywhere and i want to renew it.  I need help!

    I agree with you... there is no reset/change security option on the account management pages, pretty frustrating!

    indeed, very frustrating!! please can someone give an answer of how to reset security questions if I forgot them? and besides, there is not link to change them on the side bar as mentionned above! help!!! thanks

    my security questions reject my correct answers.  The last time this happened was a few days ago and finally the answers miracuosly appeared and the were the same as I had been putting in.  Several times I followed the advice and got to this position and a message came up saying an error had occured.  Tonight the same thing happened. I no longer have the cloud and I don't know why.  I finally found in fine print somewhere that I have to have the same Id and password I used when I set it up.  I have to reset my password every few times I try to sign in.  I had the cloud almost full.  More customer support please.

    I've had the same issue, even spoke with support and they tell me they can't reset the security questions unless I have one answer correct.  I know these are the correct answers to my questions but the system will not accept them.  This has rendered my new iPhone absolutely USELESS!!!!!  I am so frustrated with Apple right now I can't begin to tell you.  All the items I've purchased over the last few years cannot be downloaded to my new iPhone and would have to create a brand new account in order to use it.  Apple needs to get it together and come up with a better system.  I will not be purchasing anymore Apple products if I have to go through this everytime!

    I have the same problem your having, but if you go to the itunes on your iphone and try it from there it should work, that is what me and my family are having to do, its the only thing i can suggest.

    It is my computer log in to I TUNES on my I pad - it is asking for security questions and says i never used before

    Ditto - same problem! Don't have security questions never have and now I can't get past security. Apple Support isn't very helpful and these darn websites are even more confusing! Kids Christmas pressies are now useless.

    Glad it's not just me - thought I was going nuts! my son has changed from ipod to iphone and can't purchase anything straight to it. Having to do it through laptop every time, so annoying. Was gonna upgrade my samsung galaxy to iphone, but I think I'll stick with an upgrade of samsung instead!

    Glad it isn't just me either. I hope Apple looks at these posts. I can't reset my passwords because they require me to answer security questions first before I can manage my Apple ID account! There isn't an option to reset those question on the login page. Frustrating as ever!
