Just bought the macbook pro with retina display which I want to use with my LED 24 inch apple screen as an external screen.
I suceeded on using the screen but im unable to use the isight camera of the external screen . Anyone knows how to activate or is the camera even combatible with new MBPr ?
Make sure the display's USB cable is connected to the computer. Some applications let you choose a camera. Some always use the first camera available. For those, you can run some other application first to grab the first camera, then the second application will use the other camera.

thnx man just tried it a few minutes ago and it worked. Cant believe i didnt see the usb (the screen was in the box from 2009 and I just didnt have a computer with mini display/ thunderbolt)!
