How do I edit photos with iPad version 1

The apple website seems to indicate with OS 5.0 I should be able to edit photos on my iPad like I do on my iPhone, but I don't see those options.

Not with the built in apps. You will need find an app to you likening in the apps. There are dozens for photo editing, some free. iPhoto is worth looking at; as are the Adobe apps.

You can't edit photos in the photos app on the original iPad. Since there is no camera on the device, the feature was not included in iOS 5 for the original iPad. At least I think that's the way that I remember it.

Download PhotoPad by ZAGG. it is free and it is a better photo endorse than what you get in the photos app anyway.
