Snow Leopard or Lion? HELP!

hi everyone,

i'm still on snow leopard, i uprgaded to Lion when it first came out but Pro Tools nor Logic pro 8 would work on it so I reverted back to Snow Leopard.

Now i know there is a way to use Logic Pro 8 on Lion, and that Pro Tools have upgraded their system to work with 10.7 (Lion), should I now be thinking of upgrading my system to Lion?

My concern is that now Mountain Lion is out, that I may start to lose functions on my macbook pro from Pro Tools (not support snow leopard anymore perhaps?) Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
