After upgrading to OSX mountain lion and aperture 3.3.2, i have no sound in aperture. Not when I play slideshows full screen, in the browser, or the media browser. I've tried dragging files into aperture, and every other way to get aperture to play the files. From what it looks like, Aperture does not want to play any audio files.
I have a 17" mid 2010 Macbook Pro
Aperture 3, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
Have you enabled the music in the slideshow presets for the Theme that you are using?
Aperture > Presets > Slideshow ; then select the theme you are using with your slideshow.

Yes. THe box is checked. I'm unable to play music from that screen or from slideshows in my library. I've also reinstalled aperture and reset my PRAM. Also, since upgrading videos do not play in aperture.
Found my solution. Reinstalled Mountain lion and sound is back
So sad. I have a same situation. And I don't want to reinstall.. Anyway, this is helpful for me.
