The PC shut down when I connect my Iphone 3G

The PC (with Microsoft XP) shuts down when I connect my Iphone 3G for updates. The PC identify new hardware and then shut down and restart again & again. I reinstalled itunes but it didn't help. Other hardware connections work fine. Any ideas what to do?

There may be older or outdated software conflicting with iTunes and your iPhone, maybe Logitech or orbicam software.

This should help ya out -> iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Windows displays a blue screen message or restarts when connecting your device
