Horrible scroll lag with Retina Mac in Mail

I know there is another thread on the overall lag that people have been experiencing with the new Retina Macbook Pro. However, I am only getting noticable lag in the Mail application. Scrolling through the contents of an e-mail or an e-mail thread is incredibly choppy and sometimes the mail content actually flickers. I have actually tried using other Retina Macbook Pro's and have viewed my e-mails in Mail application and none seem to have as much scroll lag as my computer does. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I am having the same issues as well. rMBP 256GB 16GB Ram.😠

I'm having the same issue. I'll scroll up and down in my mail, I'll notice horrible lag and choppy transition. You think this is a software issue? i spent a lot of cash on this machine, but with some of the issues i think i might of made a mistake purchasing this machine. 15inch rMBP 256GB 8G Ram.

I read on another thread that someone had talked to Apple and after Apple diagnosed some data they gathered from his computer, they called him and said it was a software issue.
