I've had the same issue multiple times on my iPhone after upgrading to iO6.

The only solution I have found is pretty simple - hope it works for you...

    1. Double press the home button to pull up the quick access list.

    2. Hold down the icon so you can "shut it down".  And shut down the App store app.

    3. Relaunch - this puts hte default selection to "Featured Apps" instead of upgrade.

Once this popped up I was able to navigate to the Upgrades and everything worked fine.

you guys got lucky that solved your issue.

I have the same problem, but all suggestion like change the date forward for a couple of months didn't work for me. Lucky you could still access your app store, but for mine its not. When launching the app, i'm greeted with an error message of "cannot connect to itunes store". So buying, downloading and getting updates for apps is no longer possible in my ipad2. Hope you guys could help me out.

    I already sign-out and sign-in again.

Resetted my network router but all didn't work.

    Need a little help

    Thanks,

    John

Only changing the date a few months will NOT fix the problem. You have to do it year by year until it fixes. The year is different for each device.

Manually change the year, go to updates and u will receive the error to check date and time. Then set date and time to auto. Keep doing that until it fixes.

I was having the same problem of iTunes not seeing my iPad the last few days, but then I found a way to get my iPad to sync.  Here is what works for me:

    1) Shut off computer.

    2) Shut off iPad.

    3) Turn on both devices.

    4) Open iTunes on computer.

    5) Select iPad in iTunes on left side of iTunes (one click).

    6) Click on sync in lower right of iTunes.

This works every time for me, but I don't ever remember having to shut off both devices in order to be able to sync before I updated to iOS 6 on my iPad.  Now, I have to go through this whole process or else it won't sync.  I also noticed that clicking on sync on my iPad does not work since I updated to iOS 6.  Apparently iOS 6 has messed up sync, but at least I found a way to get it to work for me.

i have the same problem with oxenjo30.. i cannot connect to app store totally.. i cannot see anything, only the word loading for like less than a minute.. then it would say cannot connect to itunes store.. if i click ok, it will go to my homepage.. i cannot buy, update or even just open the app store..

i even turned off my ipad, reset my internet connection, reset my wifi, change the date, change the dns.. but still, i cannot connect.. i even send a notification to Apple Support that i am having this problem.. i am waiting for their reply.. they said upto 48hours..

everything is in order unitl i update my ipad 2 to ios6.. i can't help thinking that this is due to ios6.. i hope Apple is reading this and will assist us in this problem.. please please..

I spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support and did a  complete reset....I still can't access the App store or any other Apple website when I'm on WiFi....all my other apps as well as Safari  work  fine.....but if I change over to cellular, I can access everything....except for Urban Spoon which starts to load and then pops out to the home screen.  I am totally frustrated and want my old operating system back.  I've never had one problem with this iPad until downloading this new OS....I was far too trusting of Apple.

I googled the AP I wanted and found it.  I opened website and on it, it said download free AP. I was able to download it. However, this circumvents problem rather than fixing it.
