I bought a brand new battery 6 months ago for my MacBook. It no longer charges is there a warrenty for that?

Can I get a free replacement because it lasted less than 1 year?

If you bought an Apple battery, and the cycles are less than documented in this Apple note, I would go to an Apple store and ask for a warranty replacement, given it's only been 6 months. Note that Apple considers a battery to be a consumable commodity, so cycles on the battery is an important metric.
