Q: Shuffle wont Connect

I need to sync my ipod shuffle, but it does nothing when i plug in the dock to my pc.  What should i do?

    Has this Shuffle ever been able to successfully connect and sync with this particular PC and iTunes library or is this the first time you are connecting it?  Does the iPod still charge while it's connected?

     

    The first thing you should do is make the connections on each end are nice and snug.

     

    If you have any other USB devices connected, go ahead and remove them (except for the keyboard and mouse).  Then reboot your PC and reconnect your Shuffle and open iTunes.

     

    Otherwise, reset the Shuffle with it still connected to your PC.
