I can't get my apple tv to come up on the tv screen. when i originally set it up I had no volume, I was told that I needed an optical audio cable. I got one and when I went to my apple tv it wouldn't come up..can anyone help. My tv is older (about 7 yrs) It doesn't have HDMI port but it does have DVI port. I have the converter and I have a receiver to hook the optical audio cable to. any suggestions..I'm starting to feel like I have wasted my money and I don't think I can return it..
