So the music on my ipad keeps stopping. I'l l be working on something and then the music just stops and when I try to play the music again it wont let me. Other times it'll say that theres music playing but nothings coming out and I checked the volume.

Hard to offer an explanation, but a reboot may solve your problem: Press and hold BOTH the home and power butons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You won't lose any data or settings by a reboot.
