I can't update or download apps in iTunes
Please help

If you can't update or download apps it may be because you have an issue in billing as well. Sometimes if you have subscriptions and they aren't paid for and Apple has to pay it then an iPhone usually won't let you do anything in the App Store until the billing information on your account is taken care of.
Are you trying to download directly with the iPhone's App Store app?
Or using computer iTunes?
I'm trying to download / update with I phone app store.
I've tried, sync in my phone with iTunes, logging out then back into apple account and no luck
Go to your phone's Settings, then Restrictions. At the bottom of the "Allow" area, make sure "Installing Apps" is not set to "Off".

Went to restrictions and everything is on.
So you're in the apple store on your phone. You find the app you want, you click "Free" or the price, then "Install". It goes back to your home screen, it might ask for your password, and then what happens? Does it end before one of these steps finishes? Do you get the greyed-out icon like it's installing something? I need to know EXACTLY where the process goes wrong
When I go to the app store and want to install an app, it seems to be frozen, I see the descriptions, but can't see the reviews, don't get the option to install the app. For the apps I do have, when I hit update, it tells me unable to download: try again or done. the app is greyed out
I've logged out and back into, apple account, reset my network, unplug/ restarted my modem
Do you mind taking a screenshot and pasting it here? Go to the app store to the page of an application that looks messed up (install button not showing, no description, etc). Hit the lock and home buttons on your phone (the circle one and the one on top) at the same time, just click them down together once. Your screen should flash and you will have a picture of that screen in your photos. Can you post one here? If you need help posting a picture on these forums let me know and I will guide you through.
I need help with posting pictures, when I hold the circle and top button down together it prompts to turn phone off
You're not supposed to hold them. Just tap them. Put your finger over the top button and the circle one beneath the screen. At the same time, give them a firm push in and let go. You know how you tap the top button to lock the phone? Push it the same way, just as the same time as the circle button beneath the screen. You aren't supposed to hold them down.

I do I post the pick, when I hit reply, I see a task bar then with a camera icon then task bar disappears
I emailed u a snap shot of app , that doesn't give me opportunity to download
The button that says "$0.99" is the download button. It says the price of the app. For free ones, it will say "Free" instead. You click that, and then once you do it will turn into "Install" or something else. Have you tried pressing that? I guess Apple could clarify that a bit.
The problem I have is when I hit the free button or the price it doesn't PROMPT the install button or doesn't go to NEXT process, I'm not sure how to show you that unless there is way you can take over my phone to see what I'm talking about
