Check this Apple support document to see if your printer is AirPrint compatible, which is what you need to be able to print from the iPhone and iPad.

Post back on your findings.

As far as allowing the PC to print, you must have Bonjour Print Services for Windows v2.0.2 installed on your PC. If you don't, use the link to download and install the software.

Run Bonjour on the PC, and if your printer is compatible, you will be able to print from the PC.

If your printer is AirPrint compatible, it should be working. Check with the printer manufacturer to make sure that you have downloaded and installed the latest driver updates for your printer to enable the AirPrint feature.

If still no luck, I am afraid that we cannot offer any more assistance regarding the AirPort Express, which is obviously working.

You might want to check the iPhone and iPad support areas for more ideas about printing from those devices. We are not iPhone or iPad experts here.

I hope it's OK for me to build on the original question/problem rather than answer it.

I'm in the process of configuring a new laptop that came with Windows 8. I want to be able to print wirelessly to an HP PSC 1315 printer connected to an Airport Express, which I had been doing successflly from an XP Pro machine that just died. I am able to: (1) print wirelessly to the printer from a new MacBook Air (so wireless printing does work); (2) connect the Win8 machne to the internet via the Airport Express network (so netowrk connection is OK); and (3) print from the Win8 machine to the printer when it's directly connected to a USB port (so the printer drivers are OK). I have installed Bonjour 2.0.2 on the Win8 machine, but it's not seeing any printers. I've also installed the Airport Utility (both 5.5.3 and 5.6.1.2) on the Win8 machine, but it's not finding any Airport wireless devices either.

I'd appreciate any help.

Steve
