Entered wrong wifi password and can't change it

I entered the wrong password for my wifi. Now when connecting it displays an "!" over the wifi icon. I've tried deleting the network connection and deleting it in my keychain. It still remembers the old password and tries to connect. Other people (including Macs) on the wifi connect to it just fine. I just need to know how to re enter my password.

Unless I am doing it wrong, that did not work either. I deleted that connection under the Advanced section. I made sure to hit "apply". Then I click on the WiFi icon in the menu bar and it displays the connection there. When I click on it instead of it asking for a password it automatically tries to connect. It is just using the same password that I entered in the first time that was wrong. I hope that makes sense.

I had this issue, too. I finally found that going into System Preferences/ Network/ and clicking on "Assist Me" and then using the Assistant I was able to re-enter the password. (Prior to doing all of that I had tried deleting the network and unchecked the box to remember networks and then re-booted..only to have it try to join the network with the wrong password once again.) The Assistant is the only thing that worked for me.
