Sorry, I should have used the right lingo. Yes, I meant reset. Resetting it doesn't appear to do anything and I did go through the five Rs.
One thing else to note, When I have "Music" highlighted and I press the play button, it starts to play all the songs in alphabetical order. I can't remember if it usually does this...but maybe this would be another sign of what's going on.
Thanks in advance.
Hopefully someone can help me. My ipod nano keeps
shutting off when I press the center button.
Specifcally it shuts off when I try to access the
Music folder. Rather than going to the folder, it'll
shut off and turn itself back on. I can sometimes get
to the Music folder by having a playlist going and
then try to get into the Music folder.
I'd like to fix this since I have podcasts and would
like to actually access them. I've tried restarting
and it hasn't worked.
My iPod is having the exact same problem! I have found that if I restore the Ipod, it wont do it for a while... but when mine does it it seem s to have something to do with disconnecting it from the computer. I try to make sure to eject the iPod completely before unhooking it from the computer. But, even this sometimes doesnt work. I have had to restore my iPod about 15 times over the past week and a half to keep it working. I hope this helps!

I have the same problem too. I might want to restore it, but if it keeps doing it all the time something's not normal. Mac is going to have to fix that bug.
When I click on Music, it just restarts. I can't listen to my music except in alphabetical order. That *****. I can only listen to Podcasts.
