i purchased pages and keynote for my imac, and recently purchased a macbook air. ive tried downloading pages and keynote with the same apple id but it say we still have to pay for it, how can i get it on my air without having to pay for it again?

the app store, or apple.com, one of the 2, it was a while ago so i dont remember, but i know it was through apple.
Well if it was through the App store then you definatly should be able to re download it using your Apple ID, if you go instead the App Store and find your Purchases it could be in there...
And if it was through Apple.com you would of more than likely received iWork on a disc...
well it was a couple years ago we purchased it, so i dont know how id find that because weve bought a bunch of stuff since then
if my memory serves me correct the App store probably wasn't even out by then.. you must of bought it from Apple therfore having a disc.
is there any way to like, transfer it directly from the computer? like a usb key or something? because i doubt we still have a disc if we had one.
Unfortunatly not... iWork is an installation rather than just and App that can be run, There will be a lot of Hidden Files that the installiation will install.
so id have to buy it again? 😟
Thats the way its looking, if you cant find the CD and have looked on your Puchase History... try find it on the App Store and see if it says Install or Buy Now.
Having to buy the same application 3 different times is making me think about using something other than Pages. I bought iWork for my desktop, Pages for my iPad and now I find out I have to buy Pages again for my MacBook air because I purchased iWork on disk. This quite frankly *****. The message I recieve when I tried copying Pages on USB drive is that the version may not work with your version of the OS. The one I would download for my Macbook Air is the same version that I already purchased, 4.3. If I may I repeat myself, this *****. If I have a serial number I should be able to transfer it.
I have the cd but how do I transfer from CD to macbook air which doesn't have a way of inputting a cd?
