I have just upadated my firmware from 4.3.3 to 5.1.1.
It it will automatically updated my baseband too.
my previously BB was 04.10.01 Now it is 04.12.01 and it is carrier locked.
please help me.
i am from India Using " Airtel" as official carrier.

Sounds like you had an illegally unlocked phone. Sorry but no one here can help you except the person you bought the phone from or the carrier it was orignially locked too.
We can't help you. Only the carrier your phone is locked to can authorize your phone's official unlocking. Contact them. If you don't know the carrier, you can try calling AppleCare to find out.
That's what happens when you hack your phone or purchase a hacked phone. So, either hack it again or get it officially unlocked(recommended).
