Nope.

Legally, it breaks the Software Licence you established with Apple, that forbids running MacOS X on anything but Apple hardware.

Operationally, MacOS X contains many locks and safeguards to ensure that happens. Out of the box, it will NOT run. Illegally, hacks have been done to attain that goal, but can't be discussed in these forums.

wow..... well, there are so many problems with this...

let's start with the technical problem of this:

First, you would need a Lion OSX, only Apple sells them, and you would probably have to call.

2nd. To install another OS onto Window, you would need to have a software such as VMware to create a virtual machine. Unless you are talking about install Mac OS onto a pc that Apple did not make.... then it's another ball game.

Unless you are very techie, don't even try it. Just buy the Macbook from ebay.

Just my 2 cents 🙂

Let me add:

If you want to run OS X virtualized, need the costlier Server version of the system. Fusion will fight tooth & nail against running the workstation flavor. Has been done, but requires major patching and will break down at the next Software Update.

And Mountain Lion is much too young for the blackhat hackers to have cracked this tough nut.
