Will numbers 2.2 work with OSX 10.6?
I am thinking about upgrading from '08 v1.3. I am not willing to get OSX 10.7 yet.

The version of the iWork apps available in the Mac App Store are now the 9.2 update & require at least OS X 10.7.4 so, no, they won't work in Snow Leopard. Those who did update but are not running at least 10.7.4, preferably 10.8, are having all sorts of problems.
Your best option would be to buy the retail box of iWork '09 from a third-party retailer such as Amazon.com or on eBay.
I do agree about Lion, I no longer have it on any Mac in the house. They are either running Snow Leopard or earlier or Mountain Lion.
Wayne, I did see that 10.7.4 requirement but I hoping that it was only required for certain features to work properly. I will look into 10.8.1 some more, and maybe just go for it.
Thanks Guys,
