Q: I am using an iphone 4 with iOS 5.1.1 and i do not have an option only for hotspot , here in india we do not need any permissions from carriers for hotspot . Any advice ?

There is no option for personal hotspot on my phone .

Idea is not an officially authorized and supported iPhone carrier - the only supported carriers are Aircel and airtel - so you'll have to try and work this problem out with Idea. Often when using unsupported carriers not all features of the iPhone are usable, and that may well be the issue here.
