is there a way i can lock my iPhone 4S on 3G network as it constantly drops and when i get EDGE then i cannot connect to the internet. please help with tips on getting 3G working efficiently. i am in South Africa and use one the best service providers around. please help

Because most places have 2g, 3g, 4g cell connections your phone will automaticall switch to which ever cell area it is in. This does happen automaticall and there is no way to locj it.
My iphone was switching between 3g and 2g at my house because it was right on the line and it would drop calls, called AT&T and they advised that there was no way around this.

problem is i really struggle when 3G drops, i have to re-boot the phone several times a day to get full function
