I have no idea what I did. My music app icon is gone. I can only find it by searching for it. Once I find it this way I can play all my music. Does anyone know who I can get the music icon back on my screen?

Default apps cannot be deleted. Search all home screens and all folders.
If not found, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.
Not sure what I did, Music app was not on my iphone anymore. I did resetting of the home screen like mentioned by others. Music app/icon still didn't appear; it totally messed up how I've grouped the apps.
Installing "Music" app from App Store resolved the issue for me.
Yes.. You're correct, after upgrade the ios dev versions, or reset the home screen, I have lost icon, later when I go to app store and search for Apple music, it appeared on my screen (it didn't install) looks like it's a bug..
Go SETTINGS>GENERAL>RESET>RESET HOME SCREEN LAYOUT
The Music app can't be deleted, but it can be moved. Please check other screens as well as within existing folders.
App Store>search music>Restore>Press Home

Did you accidentally move it to another home screen or add it into a folder? Folders are grey squares that have different colored icons in them; when you tap them you'll see all the apps added in that folder.
Where do I find the correct music app? I'm not sure which one I had and I want to make sure it's the right one.
In the AppStore, search for "music". "Apple Music" should be first one on the list. That's the app you want to install it back. Hope that helps.
