Problems with car bluetooth

My iphone 4s is connected to my car's bluetooth. Yesterday, I received a call and selected to take the call through my iphone rather than through the bluetooth system. Now when I send or receive a call, I am no longer given the option to receive through the car. All calls go through the phone. The phone is still connected to the car. How can I get the phone to offer those options again?
