Find my friends app tries to open but doesn't and automatically closes and goes back to home screen. How can I fix this issue?

Have you tried to delete it from your device and download it again from the App Store.
Actually I did already do that after I had posted this. I had read to do it on someone's post and figured I'd try it too and it did work. Thanks for the reply though. I appreciate it.
