Dec 26, 2014 7:07 PM in response to Lindhardsenby skipper2491,Like the folks here, thank you very much. Your advice worked. I don't think saying you must have a USB keyboard in order to initialize your Mini is the most elegant solution Apple could have come up with, but it is somewhat typical of their approach to those odd issues that fall outside their norm. They may find themselves in a new world given the growth in the Mac world initiated by their iPhone, iPads, etc. the Mini represents a way for new Apple users to experience a Mac at a mid-range PC price. That's how they got me and I'm not likely to ever return to the PC fold. Thanks again, you saved me a lot of aggregation.

Jul 3, 2016 7:17 AM in response to InvulgoSoftby timothyfrommequon,I have a iMac and Mac Mini in same room. Switching the bluetooth keyboard to MM worked after iMac was removed and shut down. Then remove batteries from keyboard. Not keyboard connected to Mini and restart wait for it to search for bluetooth and put batteries in keyboard turn on and wait. Pair number will come up then key in the numbers hit return. Work now. Now can I have both macs using the same BT keyboard?
