How to I kill (permanently) unwanted porocesses?

Recently upgraded to Mountain Lion on late'08 iMac. Deleted some unwanted apps (including Adobe Create studio, amongst others). Deleted the apps from the App folder without using uninstall..... Stmubled across recurring errors as below (this is a cut-n-paste from Console)

There seems to be at least one process or thread trying to but failing to do something. How do I track down and kill the unwanted process/thread?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8)

Solved!!!

Found an old discussion that said to delete any references to unwanted applications from

/library/launchdaemons

/library/launchagents

In my case, there were a couple of Adobe files from when CreativeStudio was installed.

Removed the files.

Emptied the trash.

Rebooted.

No more unwanted console messages...YAY!
