How to separate iTunes accounts

How do I separate the different iTunes account in one computer? Whenever i try to update something in App Store, it's always asking for my sister's email/password. Respecting one's privacy, I usually don't want to nag her into telling me her password. Anyway, how do i organize or let the ipod touch know who is who?

ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password.

Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.

Your only real option is to delete all apps that were obtained with your sister's ID. Then repurchase them with your own ID.

But, if my sister just deletes her Apple ID and makes a new one, do you think the problem would be solved? 😀

No. That will cause even worse problems. Especiually for your sister. This is a terrible idea.

ALL purchases made by your sistere account will ALWAYS be tied to her account.

Apps purchased with her account will ALWAYS have to be updated using that account.

You will need to buy your own apps if you want them to update with your account.
