If I start to download a new app, will my MBP w/retina display continue to download the app with Power Nap mode turned on?

Your Mac will download it if it's connected to a power source. If not, it won't download that when it sleeps
I might have messed something up, but my app did not finish downloading last night after began downloading it from the app store (for the first time, it was not an update). It made 0 progress while in Power Nap mode, in fact.
Was your computer charging? It's needed to download when your computer sleeps
Does Power Nap support downloading apps for the first time (not updating)?
