Notes file location

Username/Library/Mobile Documents

Open Finder, select Username, select Go, Hold down Option key [alt] select Library, open Mobile Documents

as far as I know, the Mobile Documents folder is created only when you share documents on icloud.

i am not and do not have that folder in my user library.

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes

(Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library")

Thanks all, this is my solution but I lost my notes file and need to access it through Time Capsule. When I go to time capsule, though, there is no finder and GO option. Just looking at the files there is no Containers file. How do I open this up without Finder ?
