Aug 25, 2012 6:22 AM in response to imperticusby mende1,It hasn't got X11, but you can install it. You haven't got the icon to install this. Press Command and R keys in boot and reinstall OS X.

Aug 25, 2012 6:55 AM in response to mende1by imperticus,I installed x11, opened it and it links me to this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5293. reinstalled xquartz, and again it doesnt open.

Once insatlled it is no longer named X11 but Xquartz.
KNowing those 2 things made it work for me.
