ipod battery not charging I got a new cord and it won't charge
I lost the charger for my ipod shuffle 2nd generation so I went and got a new charger at he apple store an it won't charge.
If you bought the Apple USB shuffle cable for the 3rd and 4th gen shuffle

it won't work with the 2nd gen shuffle. The connectors are different. The replacement for the 2nd gen shuffle is this one (with the mini-dock)

You can find less expensive third-party replacement cables on eBay, Amazon, and other online vendors. Some have a dock and some just have a connector. However, you need to make sure the product is described as being for the 2nd gen shuffle.
