Flashing white underscore when booting into Bootcamp Windows 7 for about 1 minute

I installed bootcamp on my macbook pro and windows works absolutely perfectly. However, while booting into windows, a white underscore (on a black screen) flashes for about a minute before the "Starting Windows" animation kicks in... The boot time over all is incredibly slow... Is there a fix for it?

I tried reinstalling Bootcamp but problem still occurs...

In my Mac Pro 3.1, when Arc Soft ATI HDTV 750 USB is plugged in, my boot time is lengthened by ~10 seconds in the white screen that otherwise just flashes before Windows logo starts.

You might try unplugging anything you do not need to see if change occurs.

You could try Disableing the Mac drive seen in Device Manager if you do not need it to be available to Windows.

You could try Pram Reset Command+Option+P+R?
